Precautions to Take Before and After Operating a Polishing Machine

Only by paying attention to this aspect in advance can we operate the machine more effectively and safely.

1. Check the power supply: Ensure the switch remains intact and undamaged. Safe operation procedure for the polishing machine: Connect the external power source → Turn on the main power switch of the equipment → Activate the equipment power switch. Safe shutdown procedure for the polishing machine: Stop the rotation of the polishing disc → Turn off the equipment power switch → Disconnect the external power source.
2. Prohibit the arbitrary connection or pulling of wires; switches and sockets must be installed on the wall. When cleaning equipment or performing housekeeping, prevent water from splashing onto power sources.
3. Unauthorized personnel are prohibited from entering the work area without permission.
4. In case of an emergency during polishing machine operation, immediately turn off the main power switch.
5. When removing the polishing wheel to inspect the wafer, the polishing disc must be stopped first, and the pressure control arm must be raised. The polishing wheel can only be removed after the pressure control arm is fully raised to prevent accidents.
6. Do not insert any part of your body into the polishing zone while the machine is in automatic operation to avoid injury.
7. The site must be kept clean and tidy, with no items left scattered around. Before leaving work, remember to turn off the main switches for water, electricity, and gas.
8. Firefighting equipment should be placed in appropriate locations, and staff must be trained in its operation. Regular inspections should be conducted to ensure its proper functioning and to check for expiration.
