Whether the amount of belt grinding is selected reasonably can directly affect the grinding accuracy and grinding efficiency of the workpiece. Therefore, it is necessary to select reasonable grinding process parameters according to the material and structural shape requirements of the blade to be ground to achieve the ideal grinding effect. In addition, the determination of the process parameters of belt grinding of turbine blades also provides a design basis for the structural design of the belt grinding mechanism.

1. Belt Line Speed The higher the line speed of belt grinding, the higher the grinding efficiency. The belt line speed is generally 12-20m/s for rough grinding and 25-30m/s for fine grinding. A higher belt line speed should be selected as much as possible.

2. The workpiece speed increases. The speed of the workpiece can increase the grinding amount and reduce surface burns, generally within the range of 6m/min.

3. Grinding depth. As the grinding depth increases, the efficiency of belt grinding will also increase, but at the same time it will reduce the grinding accuracy and belt life. Usually, the grinding depth during rough grinding is generally controlled within the range of 0.05-0.10mm; during fine grinding, it is within the range of 0.01-0.05mm.

Fourth, normal floating pressure Under the same belt linear speed, the greater the normal floating pressure, the greater the grinding force. However, as the depth of the workpiece is deepened, the surface roughness value of the workpiece will increase. During strong grinding, the normal floating pressure should be increased as much as possible to obtain a large material removal rate; during fine grinding and polishing, the floating pressure should be selected to ensure the surface quality of the blade and the grinding allowance requirements. After testing, the floating pressure of 0.5MPa was selected, which can not only ensure the processing quality of the blade surface, but also have higher efficiency.

5. According to the characteristics of turbine blade structure shape and its own material, the following blade belt grinding process parameters are determined for reference in blade belt grinding structure design:

1. Belt linear speed 25-40m/s;

2. Workpiece speed 0-6m/min;

3. Grinding depth 0-0.20mm;

4. Normal floating pressure 0.5MPa.
